coconut chutney.



Ingredients:-
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup(shredded).
Channa dal(dalia)(pottu kadalai) - 1/4 cup.
Green chilies (slitted) - 5 (according to taste).
Sea salt - 1/2 tsp.
Ginger (chopped) - 1 tsp.
Small onions - 2.
Oil - 1tsp.
Water - 1/4 cup.

Garnish:-
Oil - 1 tsp.
Mustard Seeds (kadugu) - 1/2 tsp.
Urad Dal(ulautham paruppu) - 1/2 tsp.
Curry Leaves - 10.

Preparation:-

1.Heat a kadai,pour 1 tsp of oil &Let it heat.
2.Add slitted Green chilies & Small onions &Ginger/ Fry it lightly until it splutter.
3.Now add coconut/channa dal/green chilies/onions/salt/ginger/water in Mixie.
4.Grind it coarsely into a Thick paste.
5.Heat a pan /Add oil/Let it heat/Add mustard seeds/
Let it splutter/Add urad dal/Curry leaves.
6.Pour the mixture in Chutney & Serve.
Crunchy Potato Fry.



Ingredients:-

Potato - 1 big.
Chili powder - 1&1/2 tsp.
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp.
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp(optional).
Salt - 1/2 tsp.Oil - 5 tsp.
Curry Leaves - 10(optional).

Preparation:-

1.Dice the potatoes,cook it in a steamer or pressure cooker until it is soft & fully cooked
2.Heat 3 tsp of oil in a kadai,let it heat.Keep the gas in low flame.
3.Now add the Chili powder & Turmeric powder/Coriander powder & salt.
4.Add the Curry Leaves & fry it for few seconds.Now add the diced Potatoes.
5.Stir it well till the Spices are well coated on the Potatoes/add the remaining oil.
6.Let it cook until its crispy & brown.serve hot.
